Number 10, situated a stone’s throw from the famous Dartmouth Royal Naval College, has everything you need for a wonderful stay in South Devon, whilst being within walking distance of all the attractions Dartmouth has to offer. Take a stroll down the hill into the town, marvel at the masts of the boats as they bob on the river, enjoy a game of tennis right beside the blue waters or venture further into the vibrant town where you will find exquisite restaurants including the Michelin-starred The Angel Restaurant on The Embankment, or perhaps a lower key meal is your choice then you will be spoilt for choice.
Number 10 benefits from parking on the private driveway where you will be invited in by the porch, perfect for storing your flip-flops, walking boots or heels. The hall leads you into the lounge with a large bay window to the front, a great space to relax after a long day exploring the local area. The large kitchen/dining room is the brilliant space to gather while a sumptuous meal is prepared, a toasty fire is lit, and games are played on the imposing dining table. A very useful pantry leads off the kitchen where you can store all your local produce goodies picked up on your travels. A handy downstairs shower room off the pantry is perfect to refresh yourself before heading through the bright and airy conservatory to the garden for a dip in the hot tub, situated at the bottom of the garden with an adjoining patio. Enjoy a sundowner in the hot tub, stock up the fridge in your own bar in the summerhouse and join together for a table football game or even try your hand at darts! As the evening draws in retire to the conservatory as you watch the sun go down after a fantastic day. Upstairs are four very comfortable bedrooms, all with large windows, the bedrooms at the rear looking over the garden and rolling countryside beyond. Take your pick from one super kingsize or two kingsize bedrooms, two with an added basin and mirror unit. The fourth bedroom with a single bed is the perfect space for a child and adults alike. The newly renovated in 2023 family bathroom is a wonderful size and features a bath for those pampering evenings, or a large shower if you’d prefer.
Number 10 is a great base for friends and families, with so many wonderful features you will find it hard to tear yourself away. If you do manage to leave the comforts of Number 10, you will find Dartmouth Golf and Country Club nearby, the famous Blackpool Sands Beach in Stoke Fleming a short drive away and an abundance of boat trips to neighbouring towns from the River Dart. Why not hire your party a private vessel for the day and explore the hidden coves and beaches along the headland?
