Situated near Helston in Cornwall, Lizard Lighthouse offers a unique accommodation experience for up to six guests, nestled at the southernmost tip of mainland Britain. This collection of six cottages boasts breathtaking coastal views and provides immediate access to stunning cliffside walks. The area is rich in rare flora and fauna, enhancing the natural beauty of the surroundings. Just a short quarter-mile stroll leads guests to Lizard Village, where they can find local shops, restaurants, and a welcoming pub, ensuring convenience during their stay.

Established in 1619, Lizard Lighthouse is a fully operational lighthouse characterized by its iconic twin white towers, constructed in 1751 by Thomas Fonnereau. The lighthouse was first illuminated on August 22 of that same year, and since then, it has been maintained by Trinity House, which took over its operations in 1771. The lighthouse became electrified in 1924 and was fully automated in 1998. It features a remarkable 26-mile light range and an automatic fog signal that activates in misty conditions, ensuring safety for maritime navigation.

Guests at Lizard Lighthouse should be aware of certain policies and amenities. While babies under 10 months are welcome, children must be over 5 years old for safety reasons, and pets are not allowed. Essential amenities such as a travel cot and highchair can be requested. However, the property lacks WiFi and has limited mobile signal; a telephone with an honesty box is provided for communication. Maintenance staff may occasionally visit the property for upkeep, but they strive to maintain guest privacy during these visits.

Access to Lizard Lighthouse involves navigating narrow roads with limited passing spaces, and guests should be cautious of overhanging vegetation during specific seasons. As a heritage site, the property features steps and varying floor levels that may not align with modern building standards, necessitating careful navigation. While guests are permitted to bring barbecues, they must adhere to safety guidelines, and the use of fireworks, drones, or remote-controlled flying equipment is strictly prohibited. Additionally, there are no facilities for charging electric vehicles, and supervision of children is advised due to the property's unique location and surroundings.
