West Dell is a great family cottage with large open plan living spilling out onto the main lawn. With deep set windows and beautiful axe cut beams, West Dell is packed with rustic charm.
The space
West Dell is the largest family cottage and was in fact the first building to occupy the Dell site.
Come in from the garden under the honeysuckle and into the large living area with vintage style kitchen, oak parquet and whitewashed timber. Past the dining area and into the lounge where the library hides a secret doorway to the Lodge (if you know your neighbours of course!).
On past the bathroom to a dual aspect double bedroom and up the stairway to two further bedrooms in the eaves with wooden shutters and feather eiderdowns.
Guest access
Guests to the Dell have shared access to 3 acres of beautiful gardens and woodlands. The Dell sits on the edge of the Abernethy Forest which is filled with amazing tracks and cycle paths. There is a zip line, kids den, hammocks and stone fire pit in the woods.
This cottage is located in Nethy Bridge. Grantown Museum and Tomintoul Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Strathspey Steam Railway and Drumin Castle. Landmark Forest Adventure Park and Speyside Wildlife are also worth visiting.
