Superb countryside, hillside and coastal walks surround the village which also offers bowling, tennis and a village cinema. An exhilarating cliff walk or a breathtaking ride on the famous water powered funicular railway brings you to the picturesque harbour, gardens and shingle and rocky beach of the twin village of Lynmouth. Many famous beauty spots are also closeby including Watersmeet, the Valley of the Rocks, Porlock Weir and the Doone Valley.
This three storey cottage has been newly converted to a high standard for the 2012 season and is furnished in an attractive contemporary style whilst keeping many of the original character features of the original historic former chapel. Large attractive and very comfortably furnished living room on the second floor takes advantage of the lovely hillside and Exmoor views and has a high apex ceiling and crossbeams, TV, DVD a free standing wood burner and a double futon for alternative sleeping. Fully fitted kitchen/dining room on the first floor with integrated appliences, electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and door to rear patio. Ground floor utility/cloakroom and wc with washing machine. Rear, fully enclosed paved patio area with garden furniture ideal for alfresco meals or just for relaxing at the end of the day after exploring this wonderful part of Devon. Off road parking for one car per cottage is available and a parking permit for the local car park is also available at cost from the local TIC.
