Stone Barn in Minehead, Somerset, is a beautifully converted Grade II listed barn, originally constructed in 1879, now transformed into a luxurious holiday accommodation designed for self-catering guests. It comfortably accommodates up to six people across three well-appointed bedrooms. The ground floor features two en-suite bedrooms—one with a king-size bed and another with a super-king bed that can be configured as twins upon request. The third double bedroom is located on the first floor, accompanied by an additional shower room, ensuring ample facilities for guests.
The heart of Stone Barn is its spacious and airy open-plan living area situated on the upper floor, which boasts stunning views of Exmoor. This inviting space is furnished with a comfortable corner sofa and a custom entertainment center equipped with Wi-Fi, Sky, Netflix, and a 55-inch UHD Smart TV. The ambiance is enhanced by a large electric flame effect fire, providing the warmth and charm of a traditional fireplace without the mess. The kitchen is a modern marvel, featuring a large fridge freezer, an induction NEFF hob, and a cutting-edge extractor fan, along with an extendable dining table for special occasions.
Outside, guests can enjoy a private garden complete with a lawn, flower beds, and a patio area. A highlight of the outdoor space is the hot tub, which accommodates up to six people and offers delightful views of St Michael's Church, making it an ideal spot for relaxation with a drink in hand. Guests are encouraged to bring their own towels for the hot tub experience. The property is also pet-friendly, allowing well-behaved dogs (maximum of two) for a small additional fee, ensuring that furry family members can join in the holiday fun.
For guests' peace of mind, a security deposit of £250 is required at the time of booking, which will be refunded after the stay, barring any damage to the property. Stone Barn is conveniently located near local attractions such as Dunster Castle and Dunster Working Watermill, as well as the natural beauty of Exmoor National Park and Holnicote Estate.
