Originally part of RAF Ringstead, which was a component of the Chain Home radar system used during World War II, the Bunker has a rich history. The station was operational from early 1941 until its closure in 1956. During the renovation, care was taken to maintain the Grade-II listed status of the building, ensuring that its original concrete walls and unique features were preserved. The result is a stunning home that combines contemporary design with historical elements, including a charming woodburning stove and a pet-friendly atmosphere.
Inside, the Bunker boasts a spacious open-plan living area that seamlessly blends modern aesthetics with historical charm. The urban kitchen is equipped with a large island and breakfast bar, perfect for preparing meals to be enjoyed in the elegant dining area, which comfortably seats eight. Guests can relax in the cozy sitting area, complete with a woodburning stove and a television. The property features three inviting bedrooms, including a ground-floor double with an en-suite walk-in shower, a twin room, and a bunk bed room, making it suitable for families.
