Snowdrop Cottage is situated adjacent to the Old Hall of Barford, former home of Lord and Lady Macintosh (of Quality Street fame). The cottage provides a comfortable and pleasant stay with beautiful views of the gardens and grounds, and shared use of the outdoor swimming pool, tennis court and access to three acres including a small wood.

Dating back to the 18th century, Snowdrop Cottage has been recently renovated, whilst retaining traditional features, including wooden beams and a cast iron fireplaces. The character features are complemented by central heating, a well-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi and an LED TV. The cottage is fully detached and has its own large garden with private seating area.

Sleep five (six on request) over three bedrooms, one double bedroom, a twin room and a third single bedroom with pull out trundle bed underneath. There is a shared family bathroom shower, WC and basin, plus an additional downstairs WC.

The village of Barford is conveniently situated just 8 miles from the centre of Norwich and 6 miles to the historic market town of Wymondham with its abbey and steam railway. The Norfolk Broads are a mere 30 minutes away and the stunning North Norfolk coast not much further.

The tennis court and outdoor swimming pool (open June-September) are in the grounds of the Old Hall and shared between the guests of three properties onsite. Guests are welcome to use both the tennis court and pool during their stay. Please ensure children and non-swimmers are not left unattended when using the facilities as no lifeguard is in operation at the pool.

There is ample parking in the grounds of the Old Hall, next to the cottage with a path leading to the entrance porch.
