The well-equipped kitchen, also located on the upper floor, features a breakfast bar and all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Adjacent to the kitchen is a cloakroom with a washing machine and tumble dryer, providing additional storage for outdoor gear. Descending the stairs leads to three equally sized bedrooms on the lower level, including a master bedroom with a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room. The other two bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements, one with a king-size bed and the other convertible into either a super king or twin setup. All bedrooms are equipped with their own Smart TVs, and they share a family bathroom complete with a bath, shower cubicle, and modern fixtures.
Outside, guests can enjoy a spacious patio furnished for outdoor dining, alongside a sloping lawned garden. It is important for families to note the presence of a small stream that runs behind the wall at the side of the patio, ensuring that children are supervised while playing outdoors. Simcas House accommodates up to six guests, making it an ideal choice for families or groups seeking a relaxing retreat in the picturesque Lakeland area.
Stainton is a quaint hamlet located near the popular village of Pooley Bridge, at the northern tip of Ullswater. The local area boasts a variety of pubs, cafes, and shops, attracting visitors year-round. Outdoor enthusiasts will find numerous footpaths and bridleways, perfect for walking and mountain biking. A journey through the stunning Kirkstone Pass reveals breathtaking glacial landscapes surrounding Ullswater, with charming villages dotting the shoreline. The southern end of the lake features Glenridding, a well-loved village that serves as an excellent base for exploring the region's challenging peaks, particularly Helvellyn and Striding Edge, making it a prime location for a self-catering holiday filled with adventure and relaxation.
