The lodge features a modern design that maximizes natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. A notable highlight is the three sets of double doors that open onto a large deck area, allowing guests to take in the sweeping views. The interior includes a spacious living area that combines a sitting room, dining area, and kitchen, alongside a principal bedroom with an ensuite bathroom featuring a double Jacuzzi bath. Additional sleeping arrangements comprise a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, complemented by a family shower room.

Guests at Screel View can enjoy direct access to scenic walks from the doorstep, connecting to community woodland and a network of pathways that lead to the picturesque Rockcliffe. The center of Kippford is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk away, where visitors can find a slipway, sailing facilities, coastal walks, a shop, and two pubs offering food. Screel View is available for weekly rental from Friday to Friday, with options for short breaks of three nights (Friday to Monday) or four nights (Monday to Friday) throughout the year. The lodge is equipped with modern amenities, including LPG central heating, Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and essential kitchen appliances. Guests are provided with bed linen and towels, and the property features an enclosed decking area with garden furniture, parking for two cars, and a Type 2 charger available at an extra cost. To maintain the cleanliness of the lodge, guests are requested to avoid wearing outdoor shoes inside, with a designated boot room available for convenience.
