Restharrow Lodge is a contemporary accommodation situated in the picturesque village of Bamburgh, Northumberland, designed to comfortably sleep up to six guests across three well-appointed bedrooms. The layout of the lodge is entirely on the ground floor, featuring a super king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, another super king-size bedroom, and a family room equipped with two sets of bunk beds. Additionally, there is a separate shower room and WC, ensuring ample facilities for guests. The open-plan living area includes a fitted kitchen and dining space, perfect for communal gatherings.
This modern lodge offers a range of amenities to enhance the guest experience, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, wine cooler fridge, and dishwasher. For entertainment, a SONOS Sound System and Smart TVs are provided in both the lounge and each bedroom. Guests can also enjoy the warmth of a woodburner, with fuel and a starter pack included in the rental. Outside, there is a rear and side decking area with furniture, as well as a raised decking area, providing a pleasant space to relax. Off-road parking is available for convenience, and the property maintains a strict no-smoking and no-pets policy.
Located just a short 20-minute walk from Bamburgh village, guests have easy access to local amenities, including pubs, restaurants, tea shops, cafés, and a post office. The village is famed for the stunning Bamburgh Castle, which adds to its historic charm. For those looking to explore the region further, Northumberland boasts a diverse landscape featuring sandy beaches, scenic fishing villages, and remarkable landmarks such as Hadrian’s Wall. Outdoor enthusiasts can also visit the Northumberland Coast and Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve, both known for their natural beauty.
It is important to note that while the lodge can accommodate a maximum of six adults, two of the beds are singles, making it ideal for families or groups. Guests wishing to use the hot tub must pay an additional £250 supplement when booking. Restharrow Lodge has specific check-in and check-out times, with arrivals permitted from 16:00 and departures before 10:00. Bookings are limited to start on Mondays or Fridays, and a Good Housekeeping Bond of £250 is required, ensuring the property is maintained to a high standard for all visitors.
