Ranmoor is a charmingly restored part cottage and part Victorian villa located in the picturesque conservation area of Matlock Bath, Derbyshire. This delightful accommodation can host up to six guests across three well-appointed bedrooms, making it ideal for families or small groups. The master bedroom features an exquisite antique king-size French bed, while the second bedroom offers a beautiful French antique double bed. The third bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed, suitable for small adults on the top bunk. The cottage also includes a contemporary bathroom with a freestanding bath and an additional shower room, ensuring comfort for all guests.
The heart of Ranmoor lies in its inviting communal spaces. The kitchen boasts an original chequered quarry tiled floor and is fully equipped with modern appliances, including a dishwasher and coffee machine. The lounge area provides a cozy atmosphere with a sumptuous chesterfield sofa and a 43” Smart TV, complemented by stunning views of the valley and river. Guests can enjoy full gas central heating and wireless internet, along with provided bed linen, a high chair, travel cot, and a selection of books, toys, and DVDs for entertainment.
Outside, the property features a sunny walled cottage garden with multiple seating areas, perfect for relaxation or dining al fresco, complete with a barbecue for outdoor cooking. While there are a few steps leading to the entrance, which may pose challenges for those with mobility issues, handrails are available for assistance. The location requires a five-minute steep walk from the town center, where on-road parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with additional council parking nearby. A secure bicycle store is also offered for guests wishing to explore the area on two wheels.
