The accommodation spans three floors, featuring a contemporary kitchen, a cozy sitting room with a corner tartan sofa and a wood-burning stove, and a modern bathroom. The outdoor space includes a delightful garden equipped with a dining table and chairs, perfect for enjoying meals while watching boats navigate the harbour.
With a Five Star Visit England accreditation, Pegasus Cottage enjoys a central location that provides easy access to local restaurants, pubs, and cafes along the harbourside. Craster is renowned for its kippers and smoked delicacies, making it a culinary delight for visitors. Outdoor enthusiasts can take advantage of the nearby beach, partake in water activities such as sailing, fishing, and windsurfing, or explore the scenic coastal footpaths that lead to Dunstanburgh Castle. Additionally, a trip to Seahouses offers the opportunity to catch a boat to the Farne Islands, where guests can observe various seabird species and grey seals.
The cottage is designed with comfort in mind, featuring two king-size beds and one twin bed, accommodating families and groups. The ground floor includes a well-appointed kitchen with modern appliances, a utility room, and a shower room. The first floor houses two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with twin beds, along with a bathroom that includes a bath and shower. The second floor is a charming dormer room with a super king-size bed and seating area, complete with harbour views and a TV/DVD player. For entertainment, the cottage is equipped with a TV featuring Apple TV and a BOSE speaker system.
Families are well-catered for with amenities such as a cot and high chair available upon request. The property also allows for one small pet, subject to prior arrangement and an additional fee. Guests can enjoy the convenience of parking for up to three cars at the rear of the property, along with WiFi, bed linen, and towels provided. The cottage features gas central heating, underfloor heating, and a wood-burning stove with a starter basket of logs. Smoking is not permitted inside, and an Accidental Damage Deposit may be required. Full travel and key collection instructions will be provided upon receipt of payment, ensuring a smooth arrival for guests at this idyllic holiday retreat.
