Alongside the new furniture, fixtures and fittings, giving the cottage a modern and comfortable feel there are original fireplaces, doorways, beams and walls tying it into the rich history of the building.
The cottage is fully furnished and cupboards are full with cooking utensils, pots, pans, plates, cutlery and a selection of condiments, inc. tea, coffee and sugar.
Situated in the Forest of Dean this property offers you a peaceful and picturesque country retreat with full access to the walled-in garden, orchard and private garden with a patio and BBQ.
Clanna Ponds and Woods are within walking distance offering plenty of nice walks, cycles and picnic areas. Nearby are Lydney Golf Course, Go Ape, Cannop Cycle Centre Fishing Ponds, Horse Riding and plenty of other outdoor activities. The Towns/Cities of Chepstow, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and Bristol are all within 1 hours drive. The closest town of Lydney offers several restaurants and takeaways with a few supermarkets too.
There is plenty of room for parking on a gated driveway in a very safe neighbourhood.

The nearest town of Lydney is a 15 minute drive offering a selection of restaurants, shops and takeaways. This is a lovely Rural getaway for anyone who loves the countryside!
There are plenty of walking and cycle tracks through the nearby forests (including the Forest of Dean), the small winding narrow lanes are lovely to walk or drive on a summer's day and Lydney Train Station is nearby!
