Designed for comfort, the property is all on the ground floor and features an access ramp, making it suitable for all guests. The cottage is equipped with electric underfloor central heating, much of which is sustainably generated by its own wind turbine.
The accommodation includes three well-appointed bedrooms, comprising a double room with an en-suite bathroom, and two twin rooms that share a convenient Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Guests can enjoy a spacious kitchen that flows into a dining area, while the main sitting room, complete with a flame-effect electric fire, serves as a cozy haven to relax and take in the ever-changing scenic views. Outside, a yard provides ample parking and a perfect setting for barbecues, enhancing the outdoor experience.
Nature enthusiasts will find plenty to explore in the surrounding countryside, with excellent walking and cycling opportunities available just a short distance away. The Scottish Coastal Path is only a few hundred yards from the cottage, alongside an SSSI (Special Site of Scientific Interest) teeming with diverse wildlife. Visitors can also enjoy the beauty of Logan Botanical Gardens, known for its exotic plants and trees, or venture to the Mull of Galloway, Scotland's southernmost point, featuring dramatic cliffs and the historic Robert Stevenson lighthouse.
