Located in the traditional fishing village of Polruan and with the beach, café, local shop and 2 pubs all in walking distance, it's the perfect rural retreat. Situated just across the water from the better known Fowey and connected to by the Polruan Ferry which crosses the harbour every fifteen minutes. Fowey is a bustling small port with many craft shops, galleries and restaurants. For outdoor enthusiasts explore the South West Coast Path, and slightly further afield is Cardinham Woods with its waymarked trails through scenic woodland. Head slightly further afield and visit Polperro and Looe with their rugged coastlines, small beaches and range of independent shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants. For family days out visit the Eden Project with is Biomes, Polperro Model Village, Hangloose adventure and Porfell Wildlife Park. Enter the property and step into the dining area with table and chairs for six, from here there is direct access to the kitchen via two steps, perfect to prepare an evening meal or light lunch. The kitchen is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave dishwasher and washer/dryer, and there is a separate utility area with fridge and freezer. Also, on the ground floor is a twin bedroom with en suite shower room and WC. Head upstairs to the first floor and enter the lounge with lovely river views, snuggle up in front of the open fire and watch a film on the TV/DVD. There are two further bedrooms located on this floor, a king size and a bunk bedroom. Completing the accommodation is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Heading outside, via a number of decked steps to the side of the cottage there is a summer house fully equipped with a small kitchen area, sofa Hi Fi and TV with wonderful river views. Enjoy al fresco dining on the sun terrace with table and chairs and enjoy the river views. Directly outside the kitchen/ utility area, there is a slate patio area with large picnic bench. To the front of the cottage there is parking for two cars available.
