The attractive village of Lyonshall (just over 150 metres), set in glorious hilly countryside, is famed for its traditional architecture and part of the Black and White Village Trail. The larger town of Kington is just 3 miles away where you can access the Offa s Dyke footpath for walking. This area is rich with National Trust properties and gardens and includes Hergest Croft (4.5 miles), Berrington Hall (15.5 miles) and beautiful gardens at Hampton. Other places of interest include Leominster (11.5 miles), famed for its variety of antique and curiosity shops, Ludlow (19 miles), Hay on Wye (16 miles), Presteigne (7.5 miles), and the beautiful River Wye perfect for picnics and wild swimming. Set within its own grounds, you will enter via the front door into a spacious entrance hall. The ground floor is both spacious and characterful and perfect for spending time together. From the hallway, you have access to a cosy lounge finished with colourful soft furnishings, a wood burner and Smart TV. The kitchen has a cool and contemporary style with ample workspace for food preparation and a large table and chairs where you can keep the chef company whilst enjoying a glass of wine. For more formal dining, guests have the option of a dining room situated off the kitchen here you can dine in style with garden views. There is also a WC on the ground floor. The solid wooden staircase offers access to a spacious landing where guests have the choice of three beautifully finished and generously sized bedrooms. A king size room with wood panelled walls and an en suite shower room and WC. A double room with exposed beam work and garden views, and a twin room with queen size beds also enjoying garden views. A family bathroom with WC completes this property. Outside, you have access to beautifully landscaped and private gardens, a patio area for summer dining with a table and chairs and a BBQ. A wood fired hot tub has been well secluded to the rear of the gardens where you can soak and enjoy the dark skies. A summer house with seating and a mini fridge is a lovely spot where you can hide away with a good book.
