Golfers will be delighted with the numerous local courses in the area including Kirriemuir, Forfar, Rosemount, Alyth, Blairgowrie and the championship course at Carnoustie, all within 30 miles. The historic town Kirriemuir (12 miles) is known as the gateway to the glens; it s a fairy tale town, the birthplace of Sir JM Barrie, creator of Peter Pan, whose childhood home has been carefully restored as a museum.
