House In Appledore, North Devon

Appledore, Devon

6

Visitors to Appledore can watch the boats come and go, sample the locally landed seafood, or perhaps take a trip across to the neighbouring village of Instow on a ferry. Following the River Torridge inland, visitors will come to the attractive white washed town of Bideford, with its cobbled streets, antique shops, and choice of eateries. For those who really want to get away from day to day life, it is possible to take a boat from Bideford across to Lundy, a three mile long island in the Bristol Channel, which is a haven for wildlife, including puffins and grey seals. Guests enter this three storey property on the second floor, where there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom is a double, which has its own TV/DVD, whilst the second is a tasteful and understated bunk bedroom. The bathroom on this floor has a shower over bath and WC. An open plan lounge/kitchen/diner occupies the middle floor. To the rear of this room, a Juliet balcony offers views down to the patio and out across to the harbour. These views can be enjoyed from the lounge area s comfortable sofa, as can the TV, DVD, and hi fi. A contemporary dining table separates the lounge area from the kitchen which is well equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Finally, the lower ground floor is where guests will find the spacious master bedroom suite with its king size bed, en suite shower over bath and WC, and doors which open onto the property s enclosed garden. There is also a lobby area just adjacent to the en suite which houses the washing machine. Outside, there is a small patio area to the front of the property, and to the rear an enclosed garden which is accessed via the master bedroom, which is part patioed seating area and part attractive shingle. 1 Allocated parking space and a second shared parking space with the neighbouring property and additional roadside parking
