The Space:
Cliff Road is the ideal coastal getaway. Upon entering the property, you’ll be welcomed by the homely and cosy, yet spacious feel.

The charming living room features a log burner and a flat screen TV. Sink into one of the comfy, cream sofas and enjoy pure relaxation. Switch on the TV to catch up on your favourite shows or spend time socialising with your loved ones. Mint green walls add to the quaint feel of the property and you’ll find a coffee table in the centre of the room.

Continue from the living room and you’ll enter the open-plan kitchen and dining area, which also boasts yet another good sized living space. This space is bright and stylish with a wooden dining table and matching chairs. It is the ideal spot to enjoy family breakfasts and evening meals with friends. Open the large doors in the summer months to let the warm breeze drift in.

The kitchen is a great size and has high shine cabinets and worktops. You’ll have everything you need for your stay as the kitchen is equipped with an oven, fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer.

Step outside and you’ll find a large back garden with a patio area. Breath in the fresh sea air and enjoy the sun all day long.

Upstairs you’ll find a family bathroom, three bedrooms and one ensuite.

The first bedroom is a cosy space with white walls and a roomy feel. The quaint room features a king size bed which is complimented perfectly with a blue throw. It is complete with wooden bedside tables and a spacious wardrobe. You’ll also find an ensuite which is modern and tasteful. With a bathtub, separate shower, wash basin and WC, it has everything you need.

The second bedroom is a striking space with a large bay window. The double bed features plush cushions and a grey bed throw. Traditional wooden doors and a gold flat-screen TV complete the room.

The third bedroom is ideal for children and teenagers. With two single beds and pops of mustard yellow, the room has a cosy feel.

The family bathroom features a bath and overhead shower, along with a basin and WC.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Private on-site parking is available on the driveway for up to three vehicles, a real rarity when staying in Staithes.

The Neighborhood:
Staithes is the quaint coastal hamlet which was recently named one of Britain’s most beautiful seaside villages. It has high cliffs, winding streets and mismatched cottages bursting with charm.

The village is also known for its abundance of fossils which can be found along the small beach and in the cluster of rockpools. This area is nicknamed the ‘Dinosaur Coast’ as it’s packed with history.

Staithes is a magnet for art and artists alike. Throughout the village you’ll find amazing painted illusions known as the ‘Painted Illusions Trail’ created by the famous artist Paul Czainski. It is also the home to the impressionist art society, known as Staithes Group, and their work can always be seen dotted around. Visit Staithes Gallery and browse the wonderful exhibits inspired by the village.

Getting Around:
Cliff Road is within walking distance of all that Staithes has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Saltburn and Whitby.

Staithes has great bus links to surrounding areas including Whitby, Sandsend, Saltburn, Middlesbrough, and Scarborough. The X4 bus runs from Middlesbrough to Whitby passing Staithes Lane End making it very accessible to other desired bays.

The closest train stations are located in Saltburn and Whitby.
