Upon entering Elterwater Lodge, guests are greeted by a bright and modern kitchen featuring traditionally styled units, solid oak work surfaces, and a chic breakfast bar. The hallway, designed with practicality in mind, includes tiled flooring perfect for leaving muddy boots and jackets. A conveniently located washroom with a washer/dryer adds to the lodge's functionality. The sumptuous sitting room invites relaxation, furnished with deluxe leather sofas and coordinated chairs, where guests can unwind by the warming log burner while enjoying enchanting views from the four windows. The elegant dining room, adorned with a grand oak dresser, sets the stage for memorable family meals.
Upstairs, the lodge boasts three gorgeous en-suite bedrooms, including a master suite with a super king bed and a walk-in electric shower. The additional two bedrooms feature king-size zip beds and en-suite shower rooms, each benefiting from dual aspect windows that flood the spaces with natural light. A family bathroom with a double-ended bath and digital audio with a Bluetooth mirror completes the upper level, providing a luxurious touch to the accommodations.
Guests can enjoy morning strolls through the landscaped gardens or breakfast alfresco on the south-facing decked balcony. The property includes a large shed for storing bikes or kayaks, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. The surrounding area offers spectacular walking trails, including routes through the beautiful Langdale Valley to Dungeon Ghyll, known for its acclaimed trails in the National Park.
