Accommodating up to six guests plus cots, this inviting retreat sits on a small farm just a five-minute drive from the beautiful Crackington Haven beach. The property is ideally situated for exploring nearby attractions such as Boscastle, Tintagel, and Bude, and offers an opportunity to enjoy the surrounding 18 acres of farmland, where guests can interact with friendly alpacas and sheep, with the alpacas particularly enjoying a treat of apples.
Upon entering Skyber Barn, guests are welcomed by a spacious hallway that leads into a large open-plan living area. This modern space features a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table that seats eight, and a cozy living area complete with an electric fire, smart TV, and access to streaming services like Sky Glass and Netflix. For those needing to stay connected, the property offers ultra-fast fibre Wi-Fi throughout, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay for both leisure and work purposes.
The accommodation comprises three well-appointed bedrooms located upstairs. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed and an ensuite shower room, while the second bedroom also features a king-size bed. A twin room is available, which will transition to a zip-and-link bed arrangement from November 2023, allowing for flexibility between twin and super king configurations. The family bathroom includes a bath with an overhead rainfall shower, and central heating throughout provides guests with complete control over their comfort, supported by ample hot water from an eco-friendly biomass boiler.
Outside, guests can enjoy reserved seating on the BBQ terrace, a short walk from the barn, as well as access to a large lawned recreation area, a games room equipped with a pool table and table football, and a boules court. The property also offers two electric vehicle chargers and ample off-road parking nearby. Local landmarks include Isbell Cottage and The Gildhouse Poundstock, with opportunities for activities at the Tintagel Visitors Centre and along the scenic South West Coast Path.
