The Space
Daisybank is a fully detached cottage situated in the quiet village of Kingsbarns. Recently refurbished to a high standard at the start of  2021, the house features  3 bedrooms, with  2 en-suite bathrooms, a third bathroom with whirlpool bath, a spacious living room, a formal dining room, and modernised kitchen. A driveway at the side of the house provides off road parking for two cars. With a private, enclosed garden at the rear of the house, with dining table and chairs for those looking to make the most of the sun. The house also includes a Sonos sound system throughout, smart TV's, and an active Netflix account for guests to use. Suitable for families, holiday-makers and golfers alike. Free Wifi in the property. The accommodation layout is as follows:
Ground Floor: Entrance, Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, bedroom with twin single beds, and shared bathroom. 1st Floor: Two Bedrooms with double beds and en-suites.
Front and back gardens with driveway at the side of the house for parking two cars.


Neighbourhood:
Kingsbarns is located 6 miles round the coast from St Andrews and has a wealth of attractions on its doorstep. Kingsbarns is famed for its world class golf course that sees the world’s best compete annually for the Dunhill Championships. The Cambo Estate and Fairmont Hotel are nearby so Kingsbarns is ideally placed for the coastal wedding venues.  St Andrews is home to the Royal and Ancient Golf Club and the famous Old Course. Its amenities include Scotland's oldest university, founded in 1413, beautiful award winning beaches, historic buildings, including the ruins of the cathedral, castle and St Rule's Tower and a wide variety of specialist shops and restaurants. Renowned worldwide as "the home of golf” St Andrews has seven world-class links courses and others in the area include The Dukes, Kingsbarns and the Fairmont St Andrews complex.  


Getting Around
Everything in Kingsbarns is within walking distance, be it the local pub, café or indeed the golf links or distillery. The bus route to St Andrews and the East Neuk are approximately hourly. Taxis are available from St Andrews. A 2 minute walk to the town centre, a 5 minute drive to either Kingsbarns Golf Club, either a short walk or drive to the beach.  And only a 15 minute drive to St Andrews and The Old Course.


Guest access:
Guests will have full access to the entire property. No rooms will be off limits and all contents within the house are there for our guests use including wifi, the TV and the cooking implements.
Pre Arrival:
When the booking is confirmed you will receive instructions via a web link with all the necessary information to check yourself in at your leisure from 4pm. If early check in has been purchased check in will be from 3pm. Please note that access is not permitted to the property before this time, and we cannot store any luggage prior to check in.
Check in is via a secure key box for which you will be provided the code prior to arrival.
During Your Stay:
We are happy to communicate with all guests as much as necessary, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay.

This vacation home is located in St. Andrews. Crail Museum and Heritage Centre and Scotland's Secret Bunker are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Cambo Estate Gardens and La Petite Epicerie. British Golf Museum and Scottish Fisheries Museum are also worth visiting.
