The Brecon Beacons offer miles of breathtaking walks and cycle trails, with local attractions including the remains of the Iron Age fort at Pen y Crug (8 miles), Pen y Fan the highest peak in southern Britain (8 miles) and the popular Llangorse Lake (13.5 miles). The thriving market town of Brecon (6.5 miles) has plenty of independent shops and a range of great places to eat and drink, as well as a popular 1930s style cinema, cathedral, theatre and a leisure centre with swimming pool. You can also explore the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal or visit Talgarth Mill (17 miles), Usk Reservoir (12 miles), Tretower Court and Castle (18.5 miles), Cantref Adventure Farm (9.5 miles) and the popular Cradoc Golf Club (9 miles). The bright and welcoming lounge/diner is a lovely space to sit back in at the end of a great day. With exposed beams and French doors leading out to the garden, the lounge also features comfortable sofas, a wood burner set in a traditional fireplace and a TV with freeview so you can snuggle up and enjoy a favourite movie. The dining area to the rear of the room is perfect for sharing a special family meal. The farmhouse style kitchen is a pleasure to prepare meals in, and is fully equipped with an oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, plenty of storage space and worktops, as well as a central table which is perfect for breakfast or a quick snack. The nearby utility/boot room has a washing machine, extra freezer and plenty of storage space. You will also find a ground floor shower room complete with shower and WC off the utility room. The ground floor also features the first of the property s three bedrooms a light and relaxing twin room with divan beds. Going upstairs, there are two further cosy bedrooms, both doubles which are decorated in cool, calming shades. There s also a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Stepping outside, the enclosed garden is a pretty space for unwinding in and has a choice of outdoor furniture so you can enjoy a morning coffee as you plan the day. The cottage, which was originally built for estate workers in the early 1800s, shares a delightful courtyard with the other properties on the estate. Ample parking is available, and the large fenced paddock is perfect for children to play in safety.
