This property enjoys a quiet location in the Carmarthenshire countryside on the owners small holding, just 4.5 miles from the pretty town of Kidwelly. In the town you will find shops and cafes, as well as a museum, a 12th century castle and Glan Yr Afon nature reserve. The local area is famed for its beauty, so you will find a delightful mix of countryside, seashores, estuaries, and woodland, as well as fascinating market towns and villages. Visit Ferryside, Pembrey beach and Country Park, or the National Botanic Garden of Wales all within easy reach. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). As you enter this lovely county cottage, you will find yourself in the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This space has been tastefully decorated and is a great social space to enjoy with family and friends. The lounge area has comfy sofas and a wood burner effect electric fire, perfect for those cosy winter evenings and a relaxing space to curl up with a good book or enjoy a board game. There is also a formal dining area, with a farmhouse table and space for all to enjoy a home cooked meal together. The country style compact kitchen with added island is a great space to prepare an evening meal and comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave dishwasher and washing machine. To the right of the entrance doorway and down the corridor you will find the ground floor double bedroom, this room has a large window with views across the enclosed garden area and comes with an added TV. Directly opposite the double bedroom you will find a single shower room, located next to this you will find the family shower room. To complete the ground floor you will find a handy WC. As you climb the stairs leading from the lounge area to the first floor, you will find yourself on the landing with exposed beams and home to the further two bedrooms, the first is a spacious double bedroom and a restful retreat to enjoy a good night rest and a further twin bedroom which has been tastefully decorated and boasts an added TV. To complete the first floor, you will find a further WC. Heading outside via the patio doors leading from the lounge, you will enjoy the large, enclosed rear garden. The garden area comes with garden furniture and charcoal BBQ and is a great space to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining in the warmer months. You will all enjoy exploring this wonderful space. There is private off road parking for 2 cars.
