Within 15 miles, you can visit the elegant pink tower of Craigievar Castle which is spellbindingly beautiful, and sure to enchant children and adults alike. Further afield are the villages of Banff and Portsoy (all within 30 miles), hosting local shows and events throughout the summer. Newburgh on the coast (also 30 miles) takes you to Forvie Nature Reserve where you can see the Seal Colony and other wildlife and birds. Local distilleries Glen Garioch and Glendronach are within 16 miles. And with Alford Transport Museum only 9 miles away, perfect for a great family day out, you will have an action packed trip with something for everyone.
