Located in the centre of pretty village of Cartmel with its quaint cobbled streets and delightful stream side walks. Here you will find a clutch of excellent inns, cafes and restaurants. Set out on foot to follow one of the many walking routes in the area, which take in Hampsfell and Eggerslack Wood and the Lake District Mountains. The village lies on the Cartmel Peninsula, a body of land tumbling out into the Morecambe Bay. Grange Over Sands, over the hill from Cartmel, has delightful local shops and a mile long promenade right on the coastline with sections of beach to explore. Through the front door you enter a small snug area and at the rear is a shower room with WC and utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Head upstairs to the first floor and onto a long bright hall which still retains the old style features. Firstly, on the left is the main double bedroom with views over the village green. Next is the lounge with two suede sofa s and an armchair surrounding a wood burner and Smart TV with Sky which is the perfect place to relax and unwind. At the end of the hall is single bedroom with additional pull out single bed and a twin bedroom with two additional pull out beds. On the other side of the hall there is the dining room which is the perfect spot for a family feast. Head down a few steps into the compact and functional kitchen with all you need to create a feast. There is an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher plus a breakfast bar. Lastly is the main bathroom with shower over bath plus built in Jacuzzi and WC. Outside you will find a patio area with seating to enjoy those beautiful views, lawned area and BBQ.
