Situated in the pretty village of Appledore, with its cobbled lanes filled with art galleries and independent shops whilst being spoilt for choice with restaurants, tearooms and cafes. Take a short trip on the seasonal ferry which takes passengers across to Instow with its sandy beach and well known deli. The picturesque seaside village of Westward Ho! is 3 miles and is great for water sports and a surfer s paradise as well as having arcades to keep everyone entertained. The Big Sheep attraction is 4 miles and is ideal for a fun day out with lots of events going on throughout the season. Venture a bit further to Clovelly a unique cliff side village which is 13 miles away. Walk through the tunnel to your holiday cottage into your own private courtyard. Stepping into this delightful cottage with the lounge/dining room on your left, you will appreciate the care that the owners have taken to decorate the cottage to a very high standard. With large, comfy sofas and a stunning wood burner, you will also be able to sit and watch one of your favourite movies on the Smart TV. The cosy cottage kitchen has everything you need to cook up those well loved recipes, including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and tabletop freezer, washer/dryer and a Nespresso coffee machine. The first floor has a shower room with WC and a double bedroom. There is also a family bathroom with a bath, shower attachment and WC. On the second floor, you can find a twin room and a king size bedroom with a dressing table and glimpses of the sea. There are French doors that open up from the lounge into the Mediterranean style courtyard with patio furniture and a charcoal BBQ to dine alfresco or sit with a cup of coffee planning your next day of adventure. There is storage for surfboards and cycles at the back of the courtyard. There is roadside parking (subject to availability) and public car parks a short walk away (charges apply).
