Inside this fully renovated cottage you will find a welcoming kitchen/diner with bespoke table for socialising around, and a separate living room. This cottage has its own entrance, separate from the farm area where you can spot the cattle, a treat for the younger visitors to watch farm animals in the nearby fields.
Only a mile takes you to a very popular inn serving delicious food, with a large beer garden for sunny days. The cottage is ideally located to easily reach all the top tourist attractions throughout this diverse county. Nearby is the friendly village and sandy beach of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, a popular little seaside village with a choice of cafés and pubs, and a wonderful flat promenade to stroll along. Only 8 miles away is Morpeth, a pretty market town with some excellent shops and restaurants, popular on a weekend with locals. Amble only 4 miles, with a busy Sunday market and nice places to eat, and Alnwick is a 14-mile drive with the majestic castle featured in some Harry Potter and Downton Abbey scenes. Over to the west, discover Hadrian’s Wall, or maybe have a day trip into the Northumberland National Park, with miles of forest around the huge reservoir. There are so many places to visit for all age groups whilst staying at Low Chibburn Farm Cottage, you really will be spoilt for choice and be sure of a friendly ’Geordie’ welcome wherever you visit.
