There is a separate lounge with seating around the TV with a well-equipped kitchen adjoining. This property benefits from a ground floor double bedroom with its own en suite, perfect for guests who are looking for ground floor facilities for their stay. Upstairs you have a further two bedrooms a king and a twin bedroom, as well as the family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
In Scarborough you have two beaches; you are just a mile away from the lively South Bay, or you can follow the promenade to the quieter North Bay. The two bays have lovely, large sandy beaches making them perfect for your family holiday. You also have Scarborough Castle as well as the casino and the funfair on the seafront. Peasholm Park is wonderful to discover, you can hire pedaloes and rowing boats to go around the lake and see the stunning oriental gardens. Scarborough is famous for its theatres. There is an outdoor theatre which stages concerts by some of music’s big names, and then there is the Stephen Joseph Theatre which is famous for the premieres of Alan Ayckbourn’s plays. The Alpamare waterpark is great for all ages, with its fantastic wave pool and waterslides, as well as a large heated outdoor infinity pool. Keep younger children entertained with the ’splash and play’ area. For adults there is a spa where you can relax and be pampered. The heated outdoor pools are warm enough to enjoy through all the seasons. Further along the coast you have Filey, Flamborough, Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby to discover, all fabulous for days out. For nature lovers you have the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs, the North Yorkshire Moors National Park as well as the wonderful Dalby Forest, which is laced with walking and cycle trails. This is a wonderful destination to explore all year round, and your well behaved dog is welcome to join you, they are sure to enjoy the nearby beaches and countryside as much as you will. Scarborough Spa and Dean Road & Manor Road Cemetery are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at North York Moors National Park and Dalby Forest Visitor Centre. South Cliff Italian Gardens and Scarborough Maritime Heritage Centre are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing and other activities like golfing.
