For the winter months there is a superb wood burner in the living area to absorb the warmth while watching the ebb and flow of the tide - a perfect way to relax and enjoy your holiday. The kitchen area is well-equipped, and any budding chef will enjoy whipping up a holiday feast, or why not fire up the barbeque and dine al fresco on those warm summer evenings. The comfortable bedrooms are great for relaxing in at the end of a busy day exploring. Two bathrooms complete this property, both have baths with showers over.
Roundwood Quay is literally at the bottom of the garden and smaller children will love the opportunity to go crabbing and the owners have thoughtfully included crab lines as part of their inventory. If you have a larger boat there is even a mooring included. There are few better spots to have a fantastic family holiday or romantic getaway.
Roundwood Quay is a short distance away from Penelewey where a welcoming pub offers excellent food and a convivial atmosphere. A couple of miles away is Loe Beach, a sheltered watersports haven at the top of the Carrick Roads. During the season there is a busy little cafe selling a variety of delicious home cooked meals and a vibrant water sports centre where you can rent boats and kayaks or have lessons to learn the basics. Trelissick Gardens are a 5-minute drive or a nice walk away and from there the tourist hot spots of Falmouth, St Mawes and Truro are all connected via ferry for an enjoyable adventure on the high seas. A short drive inland is the cathedral city of Truro with a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants. Beach 7 miles.
