Hop on the train to Sheringham and enjoy a trip on the North Norfolk Railway and explore this pretty market town. If you fancy a day at the Norfolk Broads, head to Wroxham, where you can join a charter or hire a day launch. Train lovers can also take the Bure Valley Railway across open countryside and wile away a few hours exploring another popular market town, Aylsham. Another great visit is the medieval city of Norwich with its splendid Norman castle, its award-winning market and a host of theatres, museums and galleries.
Jump on the coast hopper bus and see the coastline from the top deck as you wind through pretty seaside towns and villages. All these places are in easy reach by car too. For a complete change of pace, why not head to Great Yarmouth, where you can stroll along the Golden Mile or take a horse and cart journey instead. You can also enjoy its famous Pleasure Beach and experience all the fun of the fair.
