This light and spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom lodge is situated on the beautiful Stonham Barns Leisure Park, set in 110 acres of picturesque countryside. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed with an en-suite toilet and sink, and a further bedroom has a single bed which converts into a double, and there is a further shower room. The living room offers the perfect place to sit and read, watch TV or play family games.
Stonham Barns have an array of activities to suit all ages. For children, there are amusements, adventure golf, a play barn and, new for 2023, Aqua Park. The two fishing lakes set in a tree-lined corner are fully stocked with a mixture of carp, tench and bream weighing up to 25lbs. The popular Suffolk Owl Sanctuary on-site is home to over 80 owls and birds of prey, meerkats, ferrets, rabbits and red squirrels, and flying displays are held daily from Easter to September. There is a large bar/restaurant where guests can receive discounts, where you can watch sports, play darts, and air hockey, and also with an amusement area for the children. There is also an outside garden area. Why not pop along to the onsite theatre and watch a music act? I you fancy a bit of retail therapy there is an array of independent retailers on-site including hairdressers, teapot pottery, a café and an antique centre.
If you can tear yourself from Stonham Barns, then a visit to the Suffolk coast is a great way to spend a day. Southwold offers an array of independent shops and restaurants and is home to Adnams Brewery. Thorpeness is situated around the Mere with its Peter Pan themed islands and Aldeburgh has its famous fish and chip shop. There is so much to see and do. A town treasure trail is an ideal way to learn about the historic town of Bury St Edmunds.
