Winslow, Buckinghamshire

5

No 14 is an exquisite Victorian house nestled in the tranquil conservation area of Winslow, Buckinghamshire, a charming market town in the South of England. This beautifully refurbished property, completed in the summer of 2020, spans four floors and boasts modern amenities while retaining its historical charm. The house features two main bedrooms, with an upper study that can serve as an additional single bedroom if needed. Guests can enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting and dining rooms, a laundry room, and a small yard, all set in a remarkably quiet location just steps away from St Laurence's Church, which dates back to the 13th century.

The property accommodates a maximum of five guests, with specific sleeping arrangements available in the three bedrooms. The master bedroom features a luxurious four-poster king-size bed, while the second bedroom offers a super king zip and link configuration that can be converted into two single beds. The third bedroom, also a study, can similarly be arranged, though space can be tight when configured as a super-king. Infants sleeping in cots do not count towards the occupancy limit, but the house does not accommodate pets. Bed linen and towels are provided for guests' convenience.

Equipped with modern comforts, No 14 includes gas central heating, underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom, and electric towel warmers. The property is designed for relaxation and entertainment, featuring a Bechstein upright piano, high-speed broadband, multiple Samsung Smart TVs, and a Sonos sound system. Guests can also enjoy the wood-burning stove, with logs available for purchase locally. Additionally, the house provides essential amenities, including a travel cot and high-chair for families, as well as initial consumables to help guests settle in comfortably.

Accessibility is a consideration, as the property has steep staircases that may pose challenges for guests with limited mobility. Smoking and pets are not permitted, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for all visitors. The house is well-suited for corporate or commercial bookings, making it a versatile option for various types of stays. Located near local landmarks such as the Old Gaol Museum and Stowe House, guests can explore the surrounding area, participate in activities like golf, and enjoy events at nearby venues, enhancing their overall experience in this picturesque region of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
