Hirfron is a spacious end of terrace holiday cottage located in the picturesque village of Llanberis, Gwynedd, in the Snowdonia region of Wales. Designed with both functionality and comfort in mind, this cottage is perfect for families or groups, accommodating up to five guests across three bedrooms. The inviting atmosphere is enhanced by deep pile carpets and plush seating, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Snowdonia National Park, which lies just beyond the doorstep.
The cottage features a well-equipped kitchen that simplifies self-catering stays, complete with a large Range cooker, fridge freezer, and microwave. An external utility room houses the washing machine, adding convenience for longer stays. The dining area showcases the original built-in range as a decorative feature, creating a charming ambiance for family meals, while the cozy sitting room at the front of the cottage offers comfortable sofas, an electric fire, a TV, and a music system for relaxation and entertainment.
In addition to the main sitting room, there is a second sitting area at the back of the cottage, ideal for enjoying board games and family gatherings. This room also features an electric fire, a sofa, and a small dining table. The first floor includes three well-appointed bedrooms: a double room, a single room with a 2'6'' mattress, and a versatile bedroom with zip and link beds that can be configured as twins or a king-size bed upon request. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the upstairs accommodations.
Outside, the cottage boasts a paved garden area with seating, perfect for enjoying the fresh air, along with an external utility room for bike storage and a space to hang wet coats and boots. Off-road parking is available for one car. Hirfron serves as an excellent base for outdoor adventures, whether climbing Snowdon, exploring local quarries, or enjoying water activities on the lake. With attractions and activities in Snowdonia and beyond, including trips to Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula, this holiday cottage promises a memorable getaway in North Wales.
