Located in a rural spot between the villages of Winkleigh and Dolton making this an ideal base from which to explore and to enjoy many walks directly from the cottage. Enjoy the animals on site, walk with the Alpacas (by arrangement) or see the goats, sheep, lambs (seasonal) and chickens or wander down to the lakes and enjoy a picnic. Other attractions close by including sandy beaches at Westward Ho!, Saunton, and Croyde. RHS Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal and the quaint cliff side fishing village at Clovelly to name but a few. Families are well catered for with The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks. Walk or cycle along the Tarka Trail where you can hire bikes and pedal away traffic free. Keen on fishing, then a visit to the neighbouring Stafford Moor Fishery is a must. On entering the cottage, which has been re carpeted for 2021, you are immediately in the lounge/diner with exposed beams, an electric fire, comfy seating and Smart TV/DVD, the perfect place to relax, and the dining table offers plenty of room for everyone to sit together and enjoy a meal or takeaway. On into the kitchen, which is well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Heading upstairs there are two bedrooms one king size and one twin zip and link (which could be made into a super king on request at booking) and a further single bed. The shower room completes the accommodation with a double shower and WC also an additional shower room with WC. Stepping outside is an enclosed garden area with garden furniture and use of a shared secure shed where you can store cycles, top boxes and surfboards etc. On site you have the opportunity to visit the farm park FOC during your stay, or pop over the café for coffee.
