Some lovely walks, direct from the cottage, take you through fields and woodland with commanding views over the Iron Age Fort remains, open countryside and to the sea beyond. Retaining much of its original character and features dating back centuries, it s a great holiday retreat. On entering this charming property you will find yourself in the traditional lounge and dining area. This delightful room retains certain original features including exposed beams, flagstone slate flooring and an inglenook fireplace with a cosy wood burner you can snuggle in front of. The room also includes more modern amenities including a Smart TV and CD/radio. There is a charming dining area, ideal whether you re sitting down to a big meal or grabbing a quick breakfast. Moving into the stylish and attractive galley style kitchen you will find everything you need including an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, slimline dishwasher and microwave. Through the kitchen there is also a handy utility area with WC, washing machine and tumble dryer. Exploring the cottage further you will find two bedrooms on the ground floor which are both accessed by two steps up from the hallway; one double and one single. Heading back down the two steps there is also a ground floor bathroom, complete with shower over bath and WC. Moving upstairs via the steep cottage style stairs you will find an airy double bedroom with exposed beams and its own dressing room. Stepping outside from the kitchen, you can relax in the pretty enclosed raised rear garden with patio area and seating. There is also a useful small storage area which can be used to house beach equipment. Roadside parking is available outside the front of the property.
