The cottage is only a short 8 mile drive from the bustling market town of Keswick, with its unsurpassed range of outdoor shops, pubs, restaurants, and cafés. Keswick is the ideal starting point for walkers and climbers, as well as those who want to potter around the shops or take a ride on the launch on Derwentwater. Walking into the lounge area of this property, you will instantly see the hard work and effort the owners have gone to in order to bring this Lakeland cottage back to life. The lounge offers comfort and relaxation, with a sofa and armchair surrounding the wood burner and Smart TV. Continue through to the kitchen/diner, a tastefully styled area with a reclaimed timber dining table and chairs, an electric oven and induction hob, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave. Out the back of the kitchen is the utility area with a washer/dryer. There is also a ground floor shower room with a shower and WC. Heading up the stairs to the first floor is the master bedroom with a king size bed and amazing views along with original features. Next is the twin room, located beside the main shower room which has a shower and WC. Finally, there is a very small single bedroom with a 2ft 6'' wide bed at the end of the landing. At the front of the property, there is a bench where you can enjoy the views over the fells, and shared seating area by the beck. There is private parking for one car and a public car park in the village (subject to availability).
