Hipswell Village is a lovely little settlement that has all the essentials for a wonderful getaway to the North Yorkshire at any time of year and gateway to the glorious countryside of Swaledale and North Yorkshire Dales National Park. Sitting within reaching distance of Richmond, Barnard Castle and Leyburn, there is so much for you to see and do during your stay. Explore historical ruins such as Easby Abbey and Richmond Castle or embark on a woodland adventure with trips to Aysgarth Falls, Durids Temple, and The Forbidden Corner, or meet the birds of Prey at Walworth Castle. Further afield, the rugged yet beautiful Yorkshire coastline will surely provide you with miles of walking and cycling routes upon the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Yorkshire Moors National Park, each boasting wonderful scenery and an interesting history. On the ground floor you will be greeted to a well equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine, offering a wonderful space to prepare a delicious home cooked meal for your loved ones. Head through to the snug and inviting sitting room, where you can curl up on the sofa and plan the days ahead with a glass of wine in hand or watch the TV/DVD. Alternatively, venture out to the private garden via the garden door to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining and catch the last glimpses of sunshine of an evening. Admire the original mechanics of the former mill within the dining room, a wonderful historical feature in the background whilst you gather round the dining table with family or friends at mealtimes, there is a wood burner here to make those meal times even cosier or curl up in the nook with a good book for some quiet time. When its time for bed, head up to the first floor to the three bedrooms, set up as a king size with Smart TV and slipper bath within the bedroom and a en suite shower room with shower and WC, a further king size also with it s own en suite shower room with WC and lastly a single bedroom with its en suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Externally, the rear garden is a wonderful place to wind down in the evening or watching the sun come up in the morning, enjoy alfresco dining with the charcoal BBQ.
