Upon entering the cottage, guests are welcomed into a light and inviting lounge area, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploration. The lounge features ample seating, a TV/DVD, an iPod dock, and a wood burner set in a large beamed inglenook, creating a cozy atmosphere. Adjacent to the lounge is a charming dining area, ideal for enjoying family meals together. The stylish kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances, including an oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher, while a washing machine is conveniently located in an outhouse just a few steps away. Additionally, a delightful sunroom provides a serene space to unwind, offering seating and picturesque views of the garden.
The first floor of the cottage houses two comfortable bedrooms, including a spacious dual-aspect double bedroom with a king-size bed, a lovely window seat, and a TV, as well as a single bedroom. Both rooms boast far-reaching countryside views, enhancing the tranquil ambiance of the retreat. Completing this floor is a bathroom featuring a shower over a small bath and a WC. A steep and winding staircase leads to the second floor, where guests will find a twin bedroom with glimpses of the sea. This room has access to a separate WC, although it is important to note that both rooms on this floor have low eaves, adding a quaint charm to the space.
Outside, the cottage offers a delightful rear enclosed garden, providing a peaceful setting to unwind amidst nature. The garden features paved seating areas, a BBQ for outdoor dining, and stunning rural views, making it a perfect spot for relaxation or social gatherings. For convenience, off-road parking is available for one small to medium-sized car on the gated drive, with additional parking options along the lane.
