Brixham is know for its busy working harbour and vibrant town centre. The south Devon coast, known as the English Riviera, is home to beautiful beaches including Shoalstone with its tidal pool and peaceful Fishcombe Cove. Those wishing to get active can test out the coastal paths leading to attractions such as Berryhead National Nature Reserve or the neighbouring town of Paignton, approximately 6 miles away. Boat trips can be taken from the harbour heading out to sea for a spot of fishing or around the coast for a pleasure cruise. The area is rich in maritime history with the town even boasting a fascinating replica of Sir Francis Drake s ship The Golden Hind. Set beside the street, a door leads into this mid terrace cottage. Once inside you are met with the inviting open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This cosy space has a TV and decorative fireplace, making it the ideal space in which to relax after a day spent exploring. There is space to dine just opposite and leading on from here is a well equipped kitchen that includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Steep open tread stairs lead to the first floor where you will find the first of three bedroom, a pretty double. The family bathroom is also on this floor and has a shower over bath and WC. A further steep open tread staircase leads to the second floor, which has a mezzanine style double bed and a single bedroom leading off it. Heading outside via a door from the kitchen area you will find a compact fully enclosed private courtyard, which has a bench ideal for taking your morning coffee. Parking can be found in the surrounding hillside streets (subject to availability). Unloading is possible directly outside of the property.
