Situated in Brampton, close to the shops, cafes and takeaways, there is a a farm shop with local produce and a farmer's market once a month. You can access walks to Talkin Tarn with a tearoom located on the lake and boat hire. Go to the Gelt river which is a magical river gorge cutting through sandstone and walk through natural woodland. Walk along the Ridge through woodlands and pick up the quarry beck footpath which takes you to the Lanercost Priory Going further afield you can explore Hadrians Wall, the Eden valley, travel to the Lake district, go to Scotland or the North East coast. All are within easy reach, so plenty of fine countryside to explore. As you enter the property into the lobby the lounge is to your left and the dining room is off to the right. There is a good through flow to the ground floor of this house making it feel very sociable. The lounge has a cosy wood burner, TV and comfortable corner seating which can be turned into a sofa bed for two additional guests. From the lounge and down a few steps you will find the cottage style kitchen which is well equipped with electric oven and gas hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. There is also a utility room on the first floor which has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining area can act as a second lounge as it also features a wood burner and a nice window seat where you can enjoy a good book and watch the world go by. Heading up the stairs to the first floor there are two bedrooms, one double with en suite shower and WC and a second bedroom which is set up as a family room, with a double and single bed. There is a family bathroom situated between the bedrooms which features a free standing bath, separate shower and WC Outside there is an enclosed private area which is a real sun trap on a good day, with seating to enjoy a morning coffee, and a small shed offering storage for bikes available on request. There is ample street parking available to the front of the property.
