This cosy fisherman's cottage is set on three floors in a great location with views across the sea. It s just a short, 500 metre stroll into the bustling little village with its quaint cobbled streets and a plethora of independent craft shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The novelist Charles Kingsley described Appledore as that that little white fishing village . Enjoy a walk along the quayside, watching the boats bobbing in the water and children crabbing, or sit with a bag of fish and chips on one of the many benches overlooking the seaside village of Instow. In the summer months, you can take the little pedestrian ferry across to Instow and spend the day on the golden sands. If you feel the need to leave the village, the whole of the North Devon coast is easily accessible by car and the sandy beaches of Westward Ho! are just 2 miles away. RHS Rosemoor Gardens and the heritage village of Clovelly are also a must to explore and within a 13.5 mile radius. On entering the cottage, find yourself in the cosy lounge with comfortable sofas and a Smart TV to sit and enjoy relaxing with your family, watching a good movie or two. The cottage kitchen has everything you need to make a favourite dish. Completing this floor is the family bathroom. Taking the stairs to the first floor, find two bedrooms, one has a single bed and the other has a super king zip and link bed (can be made into twins on request) with stunning views across the estuary. Also find a separate shower room on this floor. Up a steep staircase is the third bedroom which has 2 single beds. From the back of the cottage, there is an incline that takes you to the enclosed terraced decked area with patio furniture, where you can sit, relax, dine alfresco and enjoy the beautiful sea view or a spot of star gazing on a clear night.
