This popular village has shops, quayside pubs and restaurants and the Tarka Trail that runs through the village and around the estuary offers miles of walking and cycling (cycle hire available locally). The market town amenities of Barnstaple and Bideford - including historic panier markets, cinema and leisure centres are both within 5 miles along with the championship golf course and surfing sands of Westward Ho! An ideal location for couples and families who wish to explore the beautiful coast and countryside within this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which is the centre of the North Devon UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
The cottage is equipped and furnished to a high standard with central heating and double glazing to offer warmth and comfort throughout the changing seasons. Two compact and attractive bedrooms - double and twin bedded. Shower room/wc with handrail and one shallow step. Small hall with fitted cupboards. Very comfortable living room with TV, video, DVD, beamed ceiling, wall lights and gas fire in feature stone fireplace. Fully fitted kitchen area with pine units, gas cooker, microwave and washer/dryer. Patio doors from the living room open into an attractive good sized conservatory with comfortable seating, dining area and lovely garden views with French doors to patio and garden. Private patio and lawned area with garden furniture and barbecue with shared use of owner's lovely mature garden. Ample private off road parking.
