Guests are welcome to roam the friendly owner's 24 acres of farmland with invigorating walks available directly from the property, taking in bluebell woods and a private lake, ideal for picnics. Fishing in private lakes available by arrangement(well stocked with carp and rudd). Charming rural inn at Nomansland serving excellent food only 1.5 miles, and further character pubs and stores in the traditional country villages of Rackenford and Witheridge, each within 2 miles. Ideal touring base from which to explore the entire region, with the splendour of Exmoor close at hand and the North Devon Link Road within easy reach, giving excellent access to both the North and South coasts of Devon.
Accommodation is very comfortably furnished and well equipped including oil-fired central heating for year-round warmth. Charming double bedroom with en-suite shower room/wc. Good sized, light and very comfortable fully glazed living room with satellite TV, DVD, CD/radio, double bed-settee, and delightful views over the patio (with garden furniture, accessed via French doors) towards surrounding countryside. Open plan fully fitted kitchen/diner with elec cooker, microwave, freezer, and washing machine. Large, fully enclosed private lawned garden to the rear with garden furniture, barbecue and splendid rural views. Ample driveway parking for two cars.
