The interior of Twelve Burnham Lodge is designed with a boutique-style aesthetic, featuring a light and airy open-plan living space that encourages relaxation and social interaction. The well-equipped kitchen offers both a breakfast bar and a formal dining area, while the cozy seating area, centered around an electric living flame fire, provides a warm atmosphere. Large sliding doors lead to a raised patio, allowing guests to enjoy the scenic rural views. The lodge includes two well-appointed bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with a super king-size zip-and-link bed that can be converted into twins, ensuring comfort for all guests.
Guests can also take advantage of two modern shower rooms, one of which is en-suite, both featuring spacious showers. A west-facing glazed patio terrace wraps around two sides of the lodge, making it the perfect spot to unwind while watching the sunset. Nature enthusiasts may be fortunate enough to spot local wildlife such as barn owls or flocks of pink-footed geese as they traverse the skies. The lodge's design emphasizes privacy and tranquility, nestled within The Poplars development, which is known for its thoughtful landscaping and peaceful atmosphere.
For larger groups, the lodge can be expanded to accommodate six guests by opening an additional bedroom, known as Twelve Burnham Lodge (6). While the lodge is pet-free and equipped with synthetic fiber pillows and duvets, guests are reminded to bring their own pods for the Nespresso coffee machine. Overall, Twelve Burnham Lodge serves as a perfect year-round destination for those seeking a blend of comfort, style, and natural beauty in the heart of Burnham Market.
