The ground floor of the cottage is characterized by its practical layout, starting with a hallway equipped with hooks for coats and space for footwear. The bathroom and kitchen/dining room are easily accessible, leading into the living room, which features a concealed staircase. The entire ground floor is adorned with hard flooring, complemented by a large rug in the living room, which adds warmth to the space.

The kitchen/dining room blends traditional and modern elements, showcasing a charming brick and stone floor along with a feature brick wall. It is equipped with an electric oven/grill, a ceramic hob, and a fridge with a freezer compartment. A sturdy dining table with four chairs allows for comfortable home dining. The living room, slightly lower in elevation, exudes character with its low beams, including a central beam made from an old ship’s mast, and a cozy brick fireplace that houses a wood burner.
