It boasts a well-equipped kitchen complete with a Nespresso coffee machine, two bedrooms—one with a king-size bed and the other with twin singles—and two bathrooms, one of which has a luxurious roll-top bath in the master bedroom's en-suite. The lodge's French doors open to the outdoors, allowing guests to enjoy the sights and sounds of the surrounding heathland. In the summer, visitors can relax on the deck while listening to birdsong and watching the heritage steam train traverse the picturesque countryside between Holt and Sheringham.

During the winter months, the lodge offers a cozy atmosphere, thanks to its excellent insulation and double glazing, complemented by an electric flame fire for warmth. Kelling Heath provides a serene environment for relaxation and a wide array of activities for families and friends, all while being a short distance from the sandy, Blue Flag beaches of the North Norfolk coast and charming villages in the region. For those traveling with pets, Suffolk Barn welcomes two well-behaved dogs for a small additional fee. The lodge is equipped with synthetic pillows and duvets for comfort, and children over the age of four are welcome to stay.
