Recently renovated to a high standard, the cottage features full central heating and a bright, airy living space highlighted by an original exposed stone fireplace, which houses a traditional Cornish range. The well-equipped farmhouse-style kitchen boasts an oak dining table and chairs, while a French window opens onto a wooden balcony that overlooks the rooftops toward the river, complete with a bistro table and chairs for leisurely outdoor dining.

Accessed by a narrow spiral staircase, the cottage includes two cozy bedrooms, one furnished with a king-size bed and the other with a double bed. Both rooms are fully carpeted and come with fitted wardrobes and oak furniture, ensuring a comfortable stay for up to four guests. The shower room is conveniently located on the same level. Although the entrance to the cottage is flat, the spiral staircase and uneven steps leading to the private garden may pose challenges for those with mobility issues or children under 12 years old.

The private garden, hidden behind a high stone wall across the lane, is a true highlight of the property. It features a pergola, vibrant flowers, climbing vines, fruit trees, and spring bulbs, creating a serene outdoor space. Guests can enjoy the beautiful patio area, which offers splendid views of the estuary, perfect for sunbathing, relaxing in the shade, or dining al fresco. However, visitors should exercise caution when navigating the uneven steps to the garden, especially in wet conditions, as they can be hazardous.

Parking is available nearby, with designated short-stay options for unloading just a short distance away.
