The nearby villages of Beesands, South Pool, Stokenham, and Chillington are home to excellent pubs, while the town of Kingsbridge, just twenty-five minutes away, offers a range of amenities. The historic town of Dartmouth, known for its shops, galleries, and eateries, is accessible via the coastal road, and the popular destination of Salcombe can be reached by a foot ferry from East Portlemouth or by road. The stunning beaches of Bantham, Thurlestone, and Slapton Sands are also within easy reach, making this location a haven for beach lovers and walkers alike.

Seacombe is designed with comfort in mind, featuring underfloor heating and electric radiators in the lounge, which is equipped with two two-seater sofas, a log burner, and entertainment options such as a TV with freesat and a collection of seaside-themed books and DVDs. The dining area comfortably seats four, while the kitchen includes modern appliances like a fridge freezer, electric oven, induction hob, and washer/dryer. The first floor houses the master bedroom with a king-size bed and a family bathroom, alongside a bunk room that features 3 ft bunk beds and direct access to the terrace.

Outside, guests can enjoy the enclosed decked terrace equipped with seating for four, offering panoramic views of the countryside and sea. Parking is available approximately 50 yards from the cottage, though there is an incline to navigate. Additional amenities include bed linen and towels (with guests requested to bring their own beach towels), a travel cot, and a highchair. The property operates a no smoking and no pets policy. Local facilities include a beach at Hallsands just a few minutes away, a farm shop and café at Stokenham, and pubs in nearby villages, making Seacombe a well-equipped base for exploring the beautiful South West of England.
