Southwold boasts a sandy beach, colorful beach huts, an iconic pier, and a vibrant High Street filled with independent shops and eateries.
The interior of Scott's Cottage is designed for comfort and sociability. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a welcoming hall that leads to a spacious kitchen/breakfast room, a large living room with French doors opening to a courtyard garden, and a convenient cloakroom. The living room features an L-shaped layout furnished with two large sofas, an armchair, and entertainment amenities, including a 27-inch TV, DAB radio, and a Blue Ray DVD player. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering, with modern appliances such as an electric oven, gas hob, and dishwasher, along with a cozy dining area for four.
Ascending to the first floor, guests will find a landing adorned with a bookcase filled with reading materials, leading to the cottage's two bedrooms and a family bathroom. The main bedroom, located at the front, offers a king-size bed and ample storage space. The second bedroom, quieter and positioned at the back, features sturdy twin beds. The family bathroom is equipped with a bath and shower, ensuring convenience for all guests.
Outside, the fully enclosed garden is perfect for pets and children, featuring a combination of shingle and flagstones, along with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining. Parking is conveniently located directly in front of the cottage. Guests are reminded to keep pets off the furniture and stairs and to clean up after them in the garden. The surrounding area offers natural beauty, with attractions like the nearby Kessingland Country Park and various local gardens, making Scott's Cottage a delightful base for exploring the stunning Suffolk coastline.
